Question For Iris
nothing's going to change my world
Some of you may already read this blog. If you havent and you have the time, start at the begining, and work your way forward. I'm conflicted about talking about it, because it makes me feel like a dirty old man for even being interested...but the reality is that it's written extremely well, and is easily my favorite blog.
I have a question for Iris and it's not about her life or anything like that, God knows she doesnt need advice from a trainwreck like me. Because there's no way to contact her I have to pose the question right here for General Delivery and hope you eventually find this....
In the photo at the top of the page...what the hell is in your hand?

As you know... I read it.
Yesterday took a weird turn for me... I have always wondered in the back of my mind if this was an experiment...fiction if you will.
Yesterday's post... pushes my feelings toward a big fat yes...
Now... I am frustrated by it.

I was going to say its probably her SAG or AFTRA card but i actually think its a "hello my name is..." nametag. I am not sure that's her anyway.

I've chosen to believe all of it. I figure it doesnt matter if it's fiction or not, the writing makes you care about the character...how much more compelling is it when you actually believe? So I believe. There are a few gaps that I picked out, but it's not worth nitpicking.
Plus how much does it suck if you lay your heart out in an anonymous diary and a bunch of people tell you that you dont exist. That would piss me off...
My guess is that it's something from when she first met Michael...like a menu, napkin or something that he wrote his phone number on.
Right. And then some omniscient narrator happened to snap the image.

Ok. I dont know if its true or fiction and, like you, I dont care. I love fiction. However...to this being her "private personal space" and her "outlet", in response to her claim that "I write for me" I say that she does a good job of making the rounds publicizing herself.

"P.S. to S.B. It's a Brand name tag. I was wearing a new outfit that night, and I forgot to cut the tag off the back of the skirt. It was sticking out at one point, someone ripped it off and handed it to me.
I took it, but I was too drunk to see it for what it was. I thought it was something I needed."

I think it is brand name tag which was handed to her and, being as drunk as she was, she continued to hold during the picture shoot.
So do I get to guest blog?
Oh yes, and Iris thanks for answering my silly question...it was driving me crazy!
