i think i'm happy or something like it
the rains coming down and I'm plugging away in the home office
itunes is on random and it's brown-eyed-girl
which is a song that i never particularly liked but
i associate so many good times to it
late nights that we hoped to end unsnapping a bra
but settled for too much beer and a high-five
my back not too bad today
and i can smile abit

I read once that people who go deaf are much, much for likely to suffer from consequent depression than people who go blind. This always seemed strange to me. I think the reason must be because of the loss of the joy of music, and the effect it has on the brain, in so many ways. Brown Eyed Girl is a great example, as you point out.
that seems counter to what you would expect...hmmm....
