Iron Man
This was awesome. I actually collected this comic as a kid, and would have been very critical if they screwed it up. They treated the storyline with great respect, and Robert Downey Jr. is beautifully cast as Tony Stark.
You dont have to know anything about the Comic to Love this Movie.
I'm inspired to build something in my basement.

this movie rocked. i knew you collected those stupid ironman comic books and i never read a single one. good thing cause it didn't spoil the storyline for me. if only all the comic book movies could be as cool and well done as this one. real acting, real storylines, comtemporary contextualization. lookout for a return to the stupid comic book movie in the ed norton 'incredible hulk'. word on the street is that ironman2 is already set for 2010 release...
Agree. Of all the comic book movies, this one was one of the best I've seen.
I never read the comic, but I really loved the movie. I'll be sure to see it again within a few weeks, and I don't typically pay to see any movie twice!
