Why I LOVE this job. I get emails like this!

"The Turkeys will be 12 pounds, and gravy will be provided. You can not bring your own gravy"

Doesnt that rock?

And wouldnt you know, I had considered bringing my own......

Good luck today! Can't wait to see the pics. I know you've been agonizing about how to attack that bird. Breast first? Drum sticks and dark meat? Maybe go for the gizzards and neck? Only you know for sure.

Steak, you call it a job. Does that mean the thrill is gone? This is a contest where I would be tempted to use utensils - at least a carving knife. I can't imagine pulling the meat from the bone and eating it that quickly. This contest really needs to be open for public viewing or shown online.

Congrats on your finish. Beating Brian Subich is no mean feat. I'm really interested to hear all about this one, given that it included Sonya's first reversal as a pro. I'm also amazed at the (relatively) low numbers for everyone. Turkey must be a difficult discipline.

It's true. I think you've about killed me with the anticipation. With eatfeats.com down this weekend I HAVE NO WHERE ELSE TO TURN!

GD, apology accepted. I actually didn't even see the comment. Maybe OJ's ban on posts this weekend deleted it. I don't remember saying anything negative about steak, but maybe my comment didn't read the way I meant it. Having been at the same table as SB (okay, I was at the end and around the corner) and soundly defeated, I'm proud to count him as a fellow PA eater.

There are so many clues in there as to who "Anonymous Coward" is, I can't even begin to process them. I'm sure it's not so anonymous to everyone else but me though.
